You know how the media will attempt to humanize someone evil when their evil actions cause an unfortunate distraction to the Democrat agenda?

I just…

You’re sitting in a courtroom as the DA reads the charges against Charlie Kirk’s assassin. An assassination that we all saw happen live. The DA lays out the charges, the motive, and the evidence in grave detail. Details about how the assassin viewed Kirk, who held moderate and common views shared by at least half of America, as “Why did I do it? I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”

One of those common views? That boys are boys, girls and girls, and that biology is a thing.

Hearing all of this, the main takeaway from ABC News’s Matt Gutman is how touching the text messages were when the killer confessed the murder to his trans lover. Or, soon to be trans lover. The dude is in the process of transitioning, so I’m unsure what the AP style guide requires of us.

But cut Gutman some slack. He was speaking off the cuff during a live hit and didn’t have time to think…

Okay, but that’s just one reporter. We can’t make broad accusations about…

And if you’re still not convinced, I give you this from Erick Erickson’s morning newsletter:

Okay, so…

The left and the media (but I repeat myself) rank transgender #1 in their pound-for-pound most marginalized rankings.

They create the delusion that if you support science and biology, or the common belief that boys are boys and girls and girls, you want to eliminate trans people in what they call a “trans genocide.”

Someone who believes the delusion assassinated in cold blood someone he believed was committing the “genocide” based on the lies the killer was told by the media and the left (but I repeat myself).

The media tries to humanize the killer by making it less about the killing and more about the tragedy of someone who felt he was defending the honor of the person he loved.

This is being said a lot this week, but however much you hate the media…
