DWTS Star Reveals Baby News During The Show

It was a night full of love and surprises on Dancing With the Stars as Pentatonix star Scott Hoying delivered a heartfelt performance — and shared some joyful personal news.

During Dedication Night on Season 34, Hoying dedicated his foxtrot to his husband, Mark, performing alongside pro dancer Rylee Arnold to his own original song, “Parallel.” The moving track was inspired by the night he and Mark truly fell in love — when they stayed up talking until morning.

“I am so in love with him, and I have been hoping we would make it to this week,” Hoying said in rehearsal. “I’ve always been a workaholic; we toured every single year. I felt like I was always dating mean guys. When I met Mark, it felt like I could exhale. I could be myself.”

He continued, “What happens is your self-esteem starts to heal, and that starts to trickle into all areas of your life. He’s so special.”

But the most emotional moment came when Scott and Mark shared a life-changing update with Rylee — and with Dancing With the Stars viewers.

“We’re gonna be dads,” the couple revealed, smiling and hugging. “Our surrogate is pregnant!”

“We’ve dreamed of this our whole lives,” Mark said. “Scott’s gonna be the best dad in the whole world.”

Mark also shared how much Scott’s dedication meant to him: “For him to dedicate this performance, to a song he wrote about our love, I will treasure this for the rest of my life.”

It was a night to remember — a celebration of love, artistry, and new beginnings — as the Pentatonix singer brought both heart and harmony to the ballroom floor.
