Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan has signed on to direct a remake of the 1956 classic science fiction film Forbidden Planet. The ambitious project will feature cutting-edge visual effects and IMAX cinematography. Warner Bros. has allocated a 00 million budget for the production, scheduled to begin filming in 2026.
