Getting the seed if you’re seeing a vanity address?

[ad_1]

Suppose I want "BTC" in my public key (which is an address, for Sol)

There are installable programs that might find it and might give you a private key, perhaps because they actually generated private keys, concealed it from you, and then spat out a public key. However, that is of no use since the only way I'd be able to remember the recovery method is if it's a seed phrase. How can I generate a vanity along with an actual seed, and that too without it getting stolen? The code being open source isn't enough, someone has to have actually looked at the program making the seeds to ensure it's acceptable to use, because after I shut the program, I'd want to connect to the internet before my computer format.

If I was going for something unreasonable, like "….btcBTC…." in the middle of my address, would an M-series Mac at over 30-GPU cores be enough or is it actually the CPU cores I need?
