Ree Drummond‘s latest selfie is a real stunner.
The Pioneer Woman star took to Facebook to share a new photo, reminding her husband, Ladd Drummond, what a “lucky man” he is. It seems even after all these years, the Food Network star still knows how to keep her cowboy on his toes.
Drummond looked almost unrecognizable in a new Facebook image, sporting a casual denim shirt and chic black-rimmed glasses. However, that wasn’t the reason the October 15th photo was so unforgettable.
The Food Network star’s red hair was wrapped in huge, peach-colored rollers that encircled her head. To accompany the image, Drummond shared the following message.

“Good morning! I like to wear these around the house to a) protect my hair from too much blow drying, and b) to remind Ladd what a lucky, lucky man he is,” the celebrity chef joked.
Fans quickly picked up on the joke and shared their remarks in the post’s comments section.
“Oh gosh, as a teenager, when we didn’t have actual rollers, we used empty juice cans,” claimed one follower. A second added, “Me every day. It’s so much easier to exercise, and then, bam. Looks like I had an expensive blowout.”
“Love it! These men don’t know what they have LOL,” penned a third Facebook user, who responded to The Pioneer Woman star’s comment about her husband. Another social media fan joked, “My morning look. I always tell my husband, ‘This is all yours.’”
Ree Drummond’s marriage secrets
In 2022, Ree Drummond shared a social media selfie with husband Ladd Drummond, honoring their anniversary. There, she shared marriage secrets that have kept the couple going strong as they’ve navigated life’s ups and downs for almost 30 years.
“I just wanted to share a photo with Ladd from last summer and also use this opportunity to share three of my secrets to a happy marriage: 1. Listen to each other. 2. Touch feet in bed right before you go to sleep, even if you’re mad. 3. Never, ever ski together. Well, it’s a start, anyway!”
The Drummonds married on September 21, 1996. They share three children: daughters Alex and Paige, and sons Bryce, Todd, and Jamar. The couple has one grandchild, Sofia Scott.
Ree Drummond’s ninth cookbook, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: The Essential Recipes, is set to release on Oct. 28. She told PEOPLE Magazine that her 10th cookbook will be her last.
