There’s nothing more frustrating than when leftists slander Charlie Kirk with falsehoods despite never having watched a single video of him. What’s even more aggravating is when naive individuals blindly repeat these talking points, pretending they understand what Kirk stands for. To label him as “racist, sexist, or anti-democracy” is baseless and entirely unfounded. What’s worse, however, is when teachers—entrusted with educating the next generation—propagate these lies as if they are morally superior.
Three students urged the Barrington, Rhode Island, Board of Education to fire a social studies teacher after he posted a video spreading falsehoods about Charlie Kirk and suggesting he “got what was coming to him.” The most shocking part? The teacher had the audacity to call Charlie a “piece of garbage” in his misguided, deranged video.
What makes this even more concerning is that he speaks so passionately about someone he clearly knows nothing about. Even more astonishing is his belief that he’s morally superior, when Charlie would never behave in such a way.
I also agree with the students who say this teacher deserves to lose his job, as it takes a seriously unwell individual to make such statements and post them online. Even the look in his eyes alone is deeply troubling and could be grounds for termination. More importantly, he represents a serious problem: teaching students that Charlie Kirk deserved to die over a political disagreement has no place in our education system. It’s deeply concerning that people like this are entrusted with educating the next generation.
The fact that these three students display more dignity, respect, and moral integrity than a grown teacher says a lot about the current state of our education system. As they put it, “Charlie Kirk did not deserve to lose his life,” but “this teacher deserves to lose his job.”
