Tom Cruise has officially confirmed that Top Gun 3 is in active development at Paramount Pictures. The third installment will see Cruise return as Pete Maverick Mitchell, with director Joseph Kosinski also returning. The film aims to push the boundaries of aerial cinematography even further, with plans to film actual sequences in space using new technology.
