JB Pritzker claims he never called Americans who disagree with him “nazis,” forgets we have an internet and how it works

You have to admire the moxie, I guess?

I understand JD Pritzker’s thought process. He knows that if he lies, he can count on the media to swear by it. “Independent” “fact” “checkers” will back him up because he didn’t say “I think Republicans are nazis” using those exact words in that exact order verbatim.

The media will never hold him accountable by playing his words back to him. Or, any other Democrats’ words back to them. Even though, again, we have this thing called an “internet” that is known to be forever.

I’m at an awkward point as a writer where my job is to find words to arrange into sentences that convey thoughts, but I just want to throw up my hands and say, “Yeah, I’ve got nothing.”

It’s not like any of us expected a single Democrat to take responsibility. Except for John Fetterman, and you see the hateful things his own party says and does to him for doing so.

I shouldn’t even be surprised that a potential Democrat presidential candidate would lie so brazenly, because we know how the conversation goes:

DEMOCRAT: Hey, forget all those times I called Republicans “Hitler.”

MEDIA: Sure, we have no self-respect.

What galls me about Pritzker is that most of these clips, if not all of them, are from THIS YEAR. The person who put together this compilation didn’t have to dig through the crates to find the hateful things this fat f*ck has said. This is all from 2025. That’s how little Democrats expect to ever be held accountable. Ignore what Democrats said last week and only listen to what they claim to believe this week so that you can go back to ignoring what they say next week.

Apropos of nothing, the next poll that comes out identifying journalism as the least trusted institution in America, people working in the institution still won’t have any idea why.
